NYR #8, Dishtowels

Both my Christmas and Birthday wishlists this past year included dishtowels. Seeing as that is probably the third most boring gift ever (the #1 and #2 most boring gifts are the ones my dad always asks for - socks and undershirts), no one has bought me any dishtowels.

So to show everyone how serious this request was, I sewed two of them out of some Hickory Chair discontinued fabric samples (the patterns were printed on vintage linen!). I have many more discontinued fabric samples from my days at Designers Gallery so perhaps there will be more dishtowels in the future.

For now, I am loving these two... and I can officially remove dishtowels from my wishlists.
