NYR #10, Spring Shirt

It's been a long time since I've made any clothes for myself so I decided to sew this top from Simplicity's Pattern #2892 as my NYR #10. The pattern was on sale at Joanns (only $2!) and the fabric from SewMamaSew was purchased with a gift card from Zuni (thank you!).
I just love the gathered neckline with the little ruffle at the top!
Now if only the weather would cooperate and I could wear my creation. Will Spring temperatures EVER arrive?!

It's awesome! And reminds me of the bathing suit pattern you favored (blue over turquoise)!
VERY NICE JOB and I can't wait to see it on you!
